Tonight we are celebrating the 50th mouse that the cats have brought into the house this summer. And no we are not including birds, lizards, etc in that count. Nor the bodies we have found in the garden. I think it's safe to say that our cats are pretty good hunters, but it probably helps that the forests starts exactly where the lawn ends.
Today we tried oumpf burgers at home. Of all non-meat burgers I've tried, I like oumpf the best. I didn't like impossible burgers, veggie burgers, or any other type of non-meat burgers. Oumpf burgers on the other hand can be really tasty if correctly spiced.
It looks like the blueberries are ripe, I don't know if there will so plenty of them like it was last year, but let's hope so. The reports says that there was a lot of cloudberries this year so that's at least something.
